Webster's Revised Unabridged Dictionary defines SAGE as:

1) A wise man; a man of gravity and wisdom; especially, a man venerable (deserving of honor and respect) for years, and of sound judgment and prudence; a grave philosopher.

Colors fade,
 Empires fall.
But wise words endure.
- Thorndike

The Web Sage is a column that will focus on the positive developments in your life.

Articles on The Web Sage discuss the wise words of the 'SAGES'.  The focus will be on helping you to motivate yourself, and inspire you to bring success into your life.

You will notice that, with a few exceptions, the titles for the articles are in question form.  Life is a series of questions and how you answer them will plot your destiny.  This is my attempt to help answer them for you and me.

As the old saying goes, ‘Learn from others’ mistakes, you are not going to live long enough to make them all yourself’.

No – you won’t find all the answers here, but you will find that you are not on this journey alone. Maybe, just maybe, you will find that one word or two that will keep you going today.

Then you can worry about tomorrow – tomorrow!

Wisdom is like electricity.
There is no permanently wise man,
But men capable of wisdom,
who, being put into certain company,
or other favorable conditions,
become wise for a short time,
as glasses rubbed acquire electric power for a while.

- Ralph Waldo Emerson
