IN THE GRASS

I lay here in the grass,

The whole world passing by.

I watch the clouds,

Slowly fade away.

The people around me fade away.

I lay here in the grass,

I’m all that’s left.

There’s a soft breeze,

Rain clouds roll in.

I lay here in the grass,

As it starts to rain.

Rain drops on my face.

I get up and walk away.

Tomorrow I’ll come back,

And lay in grass.
