How Many Personas' Do You Have?
Have you been in situation at work where you became frustrated, angry and had to bite your tongue in order to remain professional and keep from making a fool of yourself? Have you had a similar situation at home with your spouse or kids. Except this time you were not worried about making a fool of yourself in front of your colleagues. You explode! You release all of this pent up anger (usually created at work) onto your family because it is 'safe', its in the family. Many of us can relate to this scenario. It's just not acceptable to lose your temper in the work environment.

Words are like weapons, |
Let's reframe the situation into this statement:
'You treat your colleagues with more dignity and respect
than the people you love'.
Shouldn't the people who love you expect more of you? Do you expect more of yourself? Why not use the same coping mechanism at home that you use at work? Or could it be that you think you have nothing to lose at home as opposed to your reputation at work. What about your reputation at home?
Wouldn't you like for your spouse and/or kids to respect you as much as your colleagues respect you?
