Is It Raining On Your Parade?

Do you sometimes feel like that cartoon character, walking around with a black cloud hanging over you, raining on your parade?  It's not uncommon for all of us to experience some difficult times in our lives.  Nothing and no one is perfect.  Someone once said 'in order to experience the rainbow, we must put up with a little rain'.

Some times it may seem like you are the only one the world is raining on, but you are not. It happens to all of us in varying degrees almost everyday.  Some days are better than others.  It's just a matter of how quickly you adjust to the crisis, solve it, and move on to the next crisis.

So then you ask -  'How do you move on?'

I believe it  goes back to how you view life.  Do you have a positive outlook on life?  Do you expect things to work out for the best?  Or do expect trouble everyday?  Do you expect to be mistreated or hurt by those around you?  Tony Robbins says 'we will act consistently with our view of who we truly are, whether that view is accurate or not'.  This means that if you expect to be hurt, you will be hurt. 

But guess what - you get to set your own expectations!  Samuel Smiles said 'hope is the companion of power, and mother of success; for who so hopes strongly has within him the gift of miracles'.  YOU have the 'gift of miracles' within you!

It is up to you how you use that 'gift'.
